The new square in front of Masaryčka

As part of the entire Masaryčka project, the square at the intersection of Na Florenci, V Celnici and Havlíčkova streets is slowly being transformed into its new form.

Based on the design prepared by architects from studio Perspektiv, the former parking lot will now become a new gateway to the city center. The space will be accessible and easy to enter from all directions and at the same time will offer a pleasant place for a short stop.

Trees, relaxation areas and a fountain will appear here, accompanied by a brand new city furniture as well as two reconstructed entrances into the subway.

The square is expected to be completed in the spring of 2023.
