The next stage of the Masaryčka project

Penta Real Estate managed to close the purchase of the last large brownfield in the center of Prague, which is located in the vicinity of Florenc. Thanks to this important step, we can continue with the construction of a new urban district adjacent to the Masaryk railway station and the connection of the newly revitalized railway station and Na Florenci street to the bus station and the Prague 8 - Karlín district.

The construction will follow in the steps of the Florenc21 urban planning competition, which we have organized in cooperation with the municipality of Prague 1 and 8 districts and IPR Prague. "We recently completed the first phase of construction in the vicinity of Masaryčka. We would like to continue building in the direction of Florenc with the intention of the urban planning competition from 2021 and thus connect the city center with Karlín. Thanks to the purchase of the land, we can now complete negotiations with the city of Prague on the change of the zoning plan for this location, as well as negotiations on developer contributions. A large part of the land being bought now will become the property of the city after the construction of streets and public spaces," says Pavel Streblov, Business Director for Commercial and Residential Construction at Penta Real Estate.
